Refund policy
In short: we accept returns for faulty, damaged or incorrect items reported within 7 days of delivery. We don't accept change-of-mind returns, except where EU law gives you that right.
1. Cancellations.
Orders can't be cancelled once payment is confirmed, unless we're unable to ship. If you need to change something before your order leaves us, email store@godspeed.co.jp as soon as possible and we'll do what we can.
2. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items.
Every GODSPEED piece is inspected before it ships. If something arrives faulty, damaged or isn't what you ordered:
- Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the problem.
- Once we've confirmed it, we'll send return instructions. We cover return shipping.
- Keep the item in its original packaging with all tags and accessories.
If we can't replace it because it's sold out, we'll refund the item and the original shipping cost.
3. Change-of-mind returns.
We don't accept returns or exchanges for size, fit, colour or preference, so please check measurements and details before ordering. We also can't accept items that:
- Were reported more than 7 days after delivery
- Have been worn, washed, altered or repaired
- Were damaged after delivery
- Are missing tags, packaging or accessories
Selvedge denim and heritage fabrics naturally show slubs, small colour variations and other irregularities from the weaving and dyeing process. These are characteristics of the cloth, not defects.
4. EU customers.
If you live in the European Union, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Items must be unworn, unwashed and returned with tags and original packaging. Email us to start a return. Return shipping is at your cost.
5. Refunds.
Once your return arrives and has been inspected, we'll email to confirm. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few extra days to show it. If it's been more than 15 business days, get in touch.
6. Return address.
Please contact us before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior contact won't be accepted.
