In the hills of Wakayama, a few ageing 'tsuriami' machines still turn one metre per hour, gravity pulling cotton yarn through 1000 hand-set needles. From these cylindrical knitting machines our loop-wheel program takes shape.

Further west, in Okayama prefecture, our denim is woven slowly on narrow selvedge looms using indigo rope-dyed natural cotton & sewn by highly skilled machinists at our Fukuyama factory.
